The smell hit him first, sweat, dirt and the overwhelming presence of teenage boy. There was also the hint of something rotting, and when Sanada jimmied Niou's locker open, something furry and green tumbled out.

^Even when you write Niou on the very sidelines he's so alive (and wrecking havoc on top, too!)
