They probably are edible, but even so, I don't picture myself trying.
It was fun looking at the flowers and picking them out. The whole digging and weeding to plant them was not fun at all. In fact, if it wasn't for the picking them out (and nastygrams from the homeowners association), I probably would have left my garden as a weed bed.
I'm hoping the chilis live year around and grow bushy and big so I don't have to go through that again. I am pretty sure the pink and purple flowers will need to be replaced next year.

Are they edible? My hubby loves peppers...I don't think I'd ever have any in my garden, he'd eat them all.
