Images: propaganda vs. slice of life

I am not one for propaganda. I think that the truth stands on its own and if we can try our hardest to uncover the real facts of any situation, I believe that every human being will come to the truth that exists within their hearts.

I went to the following site because I am doing some personal research on Iran and Persian History & Culture.

Salaam, Chetori?

I dated an irani girl and lived with 2-4 of them while I was in college.

Persia sure has gotten fucked by certain Arab Muslims throughout history, and I mean that literally AND figuratively. {~; I think we're lucky that there are any Zoroastrians left at all.

It seems like a lot of people don't realize that Persia/Iran, India, Pakistan, the majority of western Europe, and therefore, many Americans, are all descendants of the Indo-Europeans. We come from the same stock. It's really annoying when people call Iranis Arab.

It would be cool to go to Tehran and Isfahan, though it would be much better if their goverment was more lax. Iran was extremely European before the revolution that overthrew the Shah, and then the world got that wonderful soul of a man-Khomeini.

Khodafez.

Yes, I think the best history course that I ever took included an in depth study of the birth of our languages, and traced it up through time showing how the ethnic tribes moved and integrated with other tribes before settling in their current geography ( ... )
