Halloween Recap

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! We didn't get too many trick-or-treaters this year--only about 50 came by the house and it was definitely over by the time 8:30 p.m. rolled around. The costumes were also pretty disappointing--nothing original and none of them stood out. There were even some kids going door-to-door *without* any costumes!

I'm happy you had such an awesome Halloween with your class! I think you're absolutely right about kids being the perfect cure when your Halloween spirits are low -- though in my case it's usually Christmas, as I never seem to have trouble getting into the Halloween spirit. *g* Anywaaaaay, it's fantastic that the whole school is so enthusiastic about Halloween. Man, I wish I'd had you as a teacher when I was a kid, as your treat bags sound great! You obviously put some time and thought into them (and not just money), though I'm sure it was worth it

Oh gosh, I am so sorry I am replying to this so late! This is embarrassing! But anyway....

I also always thought Sammy had a thing for blondes (Jessica!) but it looks like he's goin' for the brunettes! And OMG, that line from Dean was classic!
