I really enjoyed both of these episodes too, especially "Mystery Spot"! Because I'm a hurt/comfort fiend, I was all over that brotherly hug near the end, not to mention all the times Dean died in Sammy's arms. Of course, saying that, I also laughed at the various ways Dean got killed off. I think I almost fell on the floor when Dean got hit by that car and went flying through the air. That was absolutely hysterical! Yes, I love episodes where the writers are able to combine comedy with drama too. The show is so dark most of the time, that it's nice to have some lighter moments.

I have to admit that I cringed when I first realized that SPN was doing a Groundhog Day episode, but I think they did an excellent job with it and totally pulled it off! :-)

So sorry I'm only getting to reply to this now! You already know my excuse so I won't bother repeating it. I also found that scene hysterical, when Dean got hit by the car (driven by none other than the *farmer* who raised the Great Mutato in The X-Files Season 5 ep, "Post-Modern Prometheus" a.k.a. The Cher episode) and he went flying through the air. LOL!
