Monday night TV, the good, the better and the best:
HIMYM- the season premiere was legend....wait for it.....ary! (Yeah, I know, that joke should get old at some point).
Key moments of hilarity: (1) Ted got a tramp stamp, of a butterfly. Lily and Marshall's first action upon seeing said drunken error in judgement...call Barney. (2) evil Marshall...slapcountdown.com is an actual website you guys. I laughed for a good five minutes straight at Barney's horrified face.
Heroes - This is an odd show for me, I like it, it is interesting and engaging and I enjoy most of the characters (ie everyone not Jessica or DL) but its like the minute it finishes I forget about it for a week. Still, this was an enjoyable episode, interesting twists, intriguing new characters, Peter with a hair cut and frankly I will tune in just to see what they do next with Sark (much easier to spell than his new "Heroes" name) and wait with baited breath for Ver...er, I mean Kristen Bell to show up and kick some ass, I'm easy like that.
Chuck - So far my favorite new show of the season....of course, it's only Monday. Still, I thought this totally lived up to the hype. Funny dialogue, a dorky but somehow cool slacker (I think Jim Halpert started this trend) who suddenly gets thrown into this bizarro world of hot CIA agents with knives and guns being pointed at his face on top of high, high buildings and diffusing bombs with porn star computer viruses. What is not to like? He lives with his sister and "Captain Awesome" and drives a NERD HERD company car. HEE!
