This past week was good- highlights include picking up the Ultimate X-Men year 3 tpb on the cheap... again. (It was one of the items taken from me after WonderCon.) Finished reading it today. Decent stuff, but it feels like Millar was never meant to stay on a superhero book for an extended period. I'm excited to see where Bendis takes it... ( Read more... )

OMG, I bought MW a couple months ago and I've been meaning to post an essay about it!

And it's good to hear that Toy Story 3 is amazing. I have faith in Pixar, but still good to hear.

I know, right? There's so much going on in the book, from the political commentary to the homosexuality- which was way the heck ahead of its time- you could really do put out a damn graduate thesis on this book.

Though I'd love to see them do more original stuff, (or Incredibles 2 >.>) it was still a treat seeing childhood favorites again.

I haven't been to the theaters since Sherlock Holmes. I need to see Toy Story.

I'm still working on Black Jack, which is the only Tezuka I've read. MW looked interesting.

That's the first summer movie that's come out that I think people really need to see, yeah. Although the A-Team was fun.

If you want to pick up another Tezuka series, I strongly recommend you check out Ode to Kirihito or Buddha. They're two of his best.
