I've only read the first book so far, I've still yet to continue past chapter 1 for the 2nd book. Lol

I know a lot of people seem to not like it or think it's... blah. But it's actually not bad. Maybe it's blah to them cause every line is how the main chick is gonna faint from every appearance Edward makes. He dazzles her too much for her health lol.

Lol I'm not struggling that much.. it's just. My materials are kinda fail. I mean. It just hit me now as I was trying, that the boxes I got from work doesn't... well... work. LOL. XD
And this being my first attempt at actually making a weapon-prop. Y-yeah. I'm kinda making things up myself here.

Awwww. At least you're learning! It's all about the learning. :D I'm pretty sure it will turn out fine~ Looking up stuff and asking advice is the best way to do it! If anything, if you're using cardboard, you should probably do multiple layers to make it stronger because one layer for the base won't work.

Yeap, I was using cardboard and planned to make layers indeed~ I'm just lacking in... amount? But after layering I am not all that clear on how to actually make it kinda blend together etc? If... that made any sense o_o

And, I definitely agree! I've never actually sewn anything before I tried to cosplay! I can't believe I actually made the skirts and such for a Suzumiya Haruhi cosplay I did last year lol. I mean... sure it wasn't 100% finished and that we kinda just... stapled them in place of zipper/buttons...

Euh... so far. I got fail cardboards from my work. Hurrah Banana box! My coworker's just went "why... do you want the box o_o"

I'm slowly working on it. I was gonna use this... rod thing that broke off of my chair for the handle-- but it's kinda too long. If nothing else I'm gonna use Sculpy and just bake the handle or something... what am I saying?! I MIGHT AS WELL SCULPT AND BAKE THE THING.

I know this is such a late comment but you should have watched it before school ended. Oh, as soon as i got out of famous players... OMFG, there were a whole line-up of girls with JUST 1 GUY! LMFAO xD After the movie it was all happy-happy-joy-joy moment. :) lol
