All this sounds fine; I might still have MLA format memorized. (Sheesh.) So, sounds good!

Footnoting or endnoting?

Endnoting is cleaner for an online posting.

True. I've never done MLA formatting with HTML before. It sounds like a fun challenge.

Well, I haven't completed an essay in MLA format in years. It takes a long time to even complete the scribblings I do. I don't think I want to relearn the MLA on top of it all.

I will pull out and watch for while. Then I will see what I can do.

You don't need to do the whole essay in MLA, just the citations. That's pure copy and replace, author's name first, then title, then publishers. Real easy.

Okay. That sounds good.

I was having nightmare flashbacks to my AP English class and its witchy, bitchy teacher. That was bad times, bad times. Even though I got a 5 score on the test. It got me out of English in Brooklyn College but it was sheer hell. She was always complaining about my bad formatting.

*lol* No I promise not to be that evil. Just what #1 says. Your thesis can even be anywhere you want in the essay.

*lol* Most people intuitively do this stuff, and if you're not sure, run it by a beta. Don't worry, this is just so that we have real essays, it really isn't as formal as it sounds.

Yeah, I'm just saying MLA for citation, so it's basically a template to follow if you use outside sources or quote from the books.

*don't worry, really not that scary*
