Why are there fresh raspberries growing in my garden? Plump and red. It's December!

Blackberries belong to the devil after the end of September, but raspberries are fair game.
I remember finding tiny wild strawberries in a meadow on December 6th a few years ago...

Plants get confused-- a couple of years ago I picked iris from my garden to put on the table at Thanksgiving. Something to do with hours of light, and they think it's spring again or something.

Good Q. There are some berries that grow in winter months, i'm not sure what they are, but there are some that look like raspberries.
