con or no con?

My american friend just messaged me stating her friend said she's received an email from the national email lottery stating she's won some money. I've put text and a link to the company below the cut.

What do you guys think?

My gut feeling is that that looks like a scam. Seems a strange way of doing things if they were legitamate.

The big giveaway is that if the person receiving the email never actually played in the lottery it most definately is a scam.

Do a page search for Woodgate, the guy who signed the scam letter ;o)

It probably is. If anyone tells you you've won a competition that you don't remember entering, it almost certainly is.

I get those once a day...it's a complete and utter scam. I get them from all over, and I also get emails stating so and so's employer died and they need to give their money away.
