This post is very eye-opening of the kind of man you are today. It was brave of you to tell this story in your life.
My sister is living with a very angry and abusive husband now. She is walking on egg shells and is trying to find the finances to get out. He will not leave their family home and she is in a state of depression all the time. I am trying to be there for her and support her by listening to long conversations. I don't know why I am telling you this but I do know he needs serious counseling to focus on all his issues. My sister is a Christian that believes in fire and brimstone, so she easily dismisses anything I offer to her for advice. She thinks the Devil is at her!
Thanks for allowing me to vent.
