I have also learned to not get excited about what people say. Very rarely do those words come true. No expectations = no let down.

Earnest Gaines said it best: "Words mean nothing. Action is the only thing. Doing. That's the only thing."

That's something I definitely need to learn to do.
My entire last month has been a mess of getting excited about what people say. It's looking to be a bit of a let down too. Rats.
