So, I got my car back. It was $357 to fix it. My theft system wouldn't recognize my key anymore. Apparently the cylindrical lock that is inside the ignition for the theft system had little burn marks on it; so the computer chip had been scorched from a short circuit somewhere

I lost my key. It cost 100 dollars to get a new one. Hooray for having a valet key that cuts 30 bucks off the cost.
