If I may make a suggestion, though: Large LJ posts like the ones you tend to write fill up our friends lists and make them much harder to navigate. There's a code called LJ-Cut that hides everything between the tags until the reader clicks the link it provides. I don't know if you knew about it or not but I thought I'd toss it out there.
It's used as follows: [lj-cut text="message to friends!"]YOURPOSTHERE[/ljcut] Just replace the '[' and ']' with '<' and '>'
You can use multiple cuts to provide links to different parts of the cut post as well: [lj-cut text="Pearl!"]Janis Pictures[/ljcut] and then [lj-cut text="Nightcrawler!"]Nightcrawler pictures[/lj-cut]
It might make it easier for you to slog through your backposts as well, dear. :)
