Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29

Grace is the key, for He is gracious and loving. I'm praying that whatever changes/corrections need to be made will be made in such a way that there is no fear only relief and joy.

Praying for you Mike!!! Your an awesome brother and I know that God has done great works in you already and this is just another refining time. PUT ME IN THE FIRE AGAIN JESUS!!!! ;0) Thats my saying for these times.

Hi Mike.

That whole "less of me, more of You" thing is quite the surgical undertaking. It's a serious transplant and He means serious business, but the end result is something truly remarkable.

I like the way C.S. Lewis puts it:

"We are to be re-made. All the rabbit in us is to disappear---the worried, conscientious, ethical rabbit as well as the cowardly and sensual rabbit. We shall bleed and squeal as the handfuls of fur come out; and then, surprisingly, we shall find underneath it all a thing we have never yet imagined: a real Man, an ageless god, a son of God, strong, radiant, wise, beautiful, and drenched in joy."
