I mean I totally talk about life that way, e.g., when discussing a boy i have a crush on, i say that his adorable girlfriend gives me like a +15 modifier to my will save. which is true.

lol! That rocks! (Err... except it probably doesn't. A +15 is probably bad, isn't it?) Anyway, I can totally relate to using D&D terms to describe life- my friends and I do it all the time, although ours is a different edition. I always use stats like "I need help opening this jar- I only have a strength of six".
