yessss. When Ken has some it was soooo soft cuz he like brushed and took care of it and stuff xp

That's the thing about Alex's facial hair: it's just automatically soft without him doing anything. Granted, most of his face is covered in light fuzz instead of growing actual facial hair, so already there's something weird going on genetically :P
