After one Open House my parent's home has sold. Nothing is 100% official yet because the buyer has to sell their home, but apparently I can say goodbye to Alden forever in a few short weeks. I already looked at an apartment downtown today. How exciting! Craigslist.com has become my new best friend, which is appropriate since my old best friend

Thank you so much Trisha.. this is turning out to be much harder than I thought but your support is helping me so much.. and I was completely blown away that your friend donated.. that is one of the things that keeps me going.. kindness of strangers.. I guess I figured things would be a lot easier.. but hey only 2115 to go right?

You're very welcome, Carrie! I really admire you for doing this. You've already made such a dent in your fundraising and you've just begun! Dave's Aunt is a fundraising queen.. she does a toooooooooooooon of stuff for the American Cancer Society.. I will chat with Dave and her and see if I can come up with some ideas to help you. I know that Dave brought Sahlen's hotdogs to the Relay for Life and sold them to raise money for the Relay and they were a huge hit because apparently Florida knows shit about hot dogs. You could also make a flashy banner (I know you were great with designing websites and band things) and see if some bands would advertise, I would put it on my myspace!
