And lo, there appeared a meme at the end of 2011, and it shone on the blog of hukbillgoomba. Thereafter it showed the way to the page of sarahlitarose, from whence it came unto memoryleaveme. And behold, the meme was pleasing to the reader's eye and was also appropriate to the end of one year and the beginning of a new one, so that it continued its wanderings through the interwebz.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

“The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.”

“My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue,
An everlasting vision of the ever changing view.
A wondrous woven magic in bits of blue and gold,
A tapestry to feel and see, impossible to hold...”

Hmmm, those sum up more than just a year - my whole life!
