I feel the show has lost its roots - I always liked the way the fantastic was anchored by very human and likeable characters. And I am missing that. Characters like Jacky and Wilf....
Shield started out pretty formulaic, but it improved in the second half of the first season. The second season is even better, so yay!
Try Forever. It really has a nice vibe. It makes me cheerful, which is saying something. :)

Whereas for me, it feels like it's got back to its roots. It's far more like the show I watched as a kid (only with much better special effects). :)
I never wanted a DW icon until this season.

I think Forever is fun and likeable. Some of the current shows are very dark - this is a bit lighter, and I am grateful for it. :)
