This is friends only. Drop me a comment when you feel like it and be prepared to tell me a)how old you are b)that you will not cosspost to Facebook or Twitter or any other social network :D
b) my facebook account has not entries and is dead for all intents and purposes. I tried Twitter for 2 posts and then abandonned it. No risk of crossposting since I don't even know how to. And I'm only on Tumbler because I wanted to respond to an artwork someone made of one of my stories and it seemed like fun :) And the only reason I signed up on Lj is to follow the hugospin-thing.
a) Age? Show me yours, I'll show you mine. ...oh, all right: being in my (early) thirties, I'm something of a dinosaur in fandom terms. Fortunately, that means I'm old enough not to give a damn about trope/ship/whatever wars and other nasties can crawl about in a fandom.
Ehm, that's the most pertinent things covers, I believe. Now, how 'bout you? :)
Hello sunshine, My posts tend to be either boring or about Master and Commander, the movie, and the Patrick O'Brian books. Do feel welcome.
You young whippersnapper *g* I turned 60 and still delight in fandoms. Mine are: ST-TOS, SH, Pros, Highlander (the series), the Aubreyad and Les Miserables (book, musical, movies and the movie musical). I never leave a fandom, I simply add...and I can be a detail slut when it comes to the Napoleoic Wars at sea. :)
Always glad to make new friends :D You have no idea how good it is to know I'm not the only one who never grew up. There is hope for me yet, mwhuhahaha!
Boring can be good. It's not as if I'm such a party-maker :) If I were, I wouldn't be cranking out fics at this rate while also studying again (for a degree in law this time... you have no idea how much of an Javert is when it comes to that), a part-time job and running my family.
Les Mis isn't my first fandom either, but it's the only one I've got up on AO3. All my older work (Final Fantasy VIII and NCIS, mostly) is up on fanfiction.net. You can find me there as Chrissy Almasy, should you ever feel inclined.
*g* I know a lot of people who never grew up, and I love them all the more for it. Growing up can kill all the fun
Cranking out fics? Well, you did wonderfully well in that respect...and,may I kiss the seam of your dress for Surrender? hurt!Javert/comfort!Valjean is as much my guilty pleasure as hurt!JAck Aubrey/comfort!Stephen Maturin...something that generally doesn't happen

It's been some time since I've been on Livejournal but you may remember me as twirlychelengk or indefatigable-- if you don't, that's okay. I just wanted to say that I'm glad you're still on LJ, and that being friends with you (however briefly) was one of the best fandom experiences I can look back on. I hope you're doing well, and that you have a happy New Year.
How time flies when having fun. :) I am not on tumblr, but my mirror journal is on Dreamwidth. I hope to read more from you. When you feel like it, let me know how you are. *dances with the penguins*
