i loved the tenderloin Y! i asm pretty sure it the ymca, y'know, of village people fame.
it remains to date my favorite gym ever.
also, i really liked going to Glide (church, not a gym) when i was in SF. you should check it out.

That would make total sense if it was the village people Y. What kind of church is Glide? I think I've heard of it before.

i think GLIDE is a sort of non demonimanational type although officially they are methodist.

very rowdy and emotional, a huge choir- like maybe 100 people, a big band with a horn section and more music then preaching.
the readings are from all sorts of books and religions.
its pretty awesome.

oh my god, i loved his dark materials! did you know they're going to make it into a movie? also, i'm sorry i never called you to hang out. i feely doubly assholeish since my housemates are better at hanging out with you! yikes! second chance?

I'm very excited about this movie. I've spent my fair share of time looking at stills and geeking out.

Of course we should hang out some time. My socializing energy has plummeted with faux winter hibernation but I'm up to any challenge. Maybe a neighbor dinner?

Glide is liberal methodist church with a good choir and it is jammed packed to get your fill of community
