“I am freezing!” he added with an increased air of urgency when Gary’s reaction (or the lack thereof) told him that his partner was drifting off into sleep once again.

your little united family is the cutest, cutest thing on the face of this planet. ♥ you don't even know how much they make me smile. they just are so perfect, and right. and you have each of the characterisations of the kids spot on. and the interactions and everything. it just all works. and just like a real family, they may annoy each other and joke around, but you know they love each other. and that is exactly what you convey with this story. and it is such a pleasure to read. honestly.

This seriously has to be the cutest set of fic ever. The family is so loving and yet so *REAL*. It's not some cheesy characterization of a family. And that first paragraph?? Love the way you wrote it. Totally got me hooked. :)

Little!Alan is just the cutest. And erm...it's bad that I read the paragraph of him coming out of the shower with just a towel and almost 'guhh'ed' before realizing he's not the age he is now, right? LOL Did that sentence make any sense whatsoever?! I'm not sure.

Love the rivalry between Cristiano and Wayne too. I want to pinch their cheeks for being so darn adorable.

His bleach blonde hair, all flat, hung over his ears and into his face, but didn’t manage to cover up the frown line that had appeared on the boy’s forehead; droplets of water ran down his naked torso. The towel that he had hastily slung around his waist rode dangerously low on his hipbones. Water dripped on the carpet.

“I was in’t shower and you have to turn t’bloody watter on!”
