Esther Williams rest?  You must be joking!

Good luck, Ms.Williams! And remember to have a wonderful time at your new film. Maybe they'll put a swimming scene in-even though that wouldn't make any sense, so what am I saying. But they might, if you really ask them. Either way: Good luck!

Well, Es, you move from one dancer (me) to the next (Gene). Believe what you hear, he's a doll but he's a perfectionist ... through and through. He and I did a screen test together in '46 when MGM put me on contract, it was one day of rehearsal and filming ... if I were anyone other than myself I think I could have murdered Gene, but being that I am in fact myself, I just dusted off my shoulders. He and I are a lot alike.
