My nanny is sick.  With the stomach bug that we gave her, so I can hardly fault her.  Seth is working.  Julian has no school (but does have speech therapy at 5pm - not sure how THAT'S going to happen).  Just me and the kiddos.  Am seriously wondering why I ever let them release me from the hospital.

Turns out I was wrong, it's "Ratched" not "Ratchet". Guess that's what I get for not ever having read One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest myself. I've just seen (parts of) the movie. Maybe I'll read it in my copious spare time on bed rest.

This is the hilarious part about bed rest. Everyone thinks bed rest is this mini vacation and I've got nothing but time on my hands. Hah. Vacation indeed.

I'm so sorry to hear of your distress. Bed "rest" with four children in the house does not exist. I will put your name into may davening list right now. Done. I hope you have a fast recovery and placid children who love to hear you tell a story.
