Glowing

First, I should make very clear that radioactive eggs are disgusting.  Even if it didn't have a rotten metallic tangy taste to it, just sitting there chewing a hardboiled egg with no water to wash it down, on an empty stomach, when severe persistent nausea is already a problem, thinking about the fact that you're intentionally swallowing a ( Read more... )

Heh. I can't remember who made that one for me. Maybe allah_sulu. I've had it for years but I never use it. Probably for good reason! :)

I have this vague recollection I might have done it.

You are quite right - it is credited in my userpics page: http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=estherchaya

And see? All these years later and I found an even more perfect use for it than I wanted originally! :)

Domperidone will also increase your milk supply. It can cause lactation in men.

Feel good and may you not eat anything else radioactive ever again.

Yes, I know (as will Reglan - actually the Reglan was far more effective at increasing my milk supply but the side effects were brutal). I used Domperidone when I was nursing the triplets. It was actually kind of funny because it was like he was whipping out his secret weapon announcing that maybe we should switch to domperidone and he was about to explain what it is and where to get it (It's not available in the US) and I said, "Actually, I *have* domperidone." He almost deflated - it was cute.

anyway, an increased supply is a good thing - I'm eating so little that I'm starting to struggle with supply issues. I didn't have supply issues with the triplets until I went back to work, so it's ridiculous that I should have even a hint of a supply issue!

Here's hoping the radiation gives you cool superpowers.

then the question is exactly what superpower would a chicken egg bestow upon me.

so far no dice. I'll let you know if I turn into Chicken Woman, though. Or if I get very, very angry and turn green.

An eleventh toe would be a nuisance -- you'll probably need custom-made shoes and you can't really do anything with it. Surely you can grow something more interesting, or get a superpower out of it?

good point on the custom shoes. So far no luck on the superpowers, but it was pointed out to me that the egg would have had to bite me to give me spandex-wearing powers of Chicken Woman!

I hate reglan. You already know my feelings on domperidone.

Reglan probably would have worked had I been taking a high enough dose - but at a higher dose, I get dystonic effects and that's... bad.

I heart domperidone. He told me he could write a script for me and I could get it from Canada. Have you done that? I always get mine from the UK, but wondering if there's any advantage to Canada.

Reglan gave me the dumb. It was very bad because I didn't realize it and had to be told.

As for domperidone, before I ordered it from the website that I think I got from you and Seth, I got it by prescription from a compounding pharmacy in Alexandria. Ordering online is a fraction of the price. I think I get a 3 month supply for what I paid for 1 month of pills.

Yes, you got the website from me - that's where I order it. My doctor seemed to think it would be easier to get it from Canada. I'll investigate and et you know if it's any easier/cheaper (I doubt it'll be cheaper). I think my doctor's thinking I have gastroparesis, so my guess is I'm going to be buying a LOT of domperidone over the long term.

Sigh.
