As many horrible things as there are in the world, I cannot help feeling sad and scared. I have no idea what is going to happen in the next few weeks. I could get a call tomorrow that turns out to be a job offer, or I could be rejected from all three of the places for which I interviewed. Both are entirely possible. Yup, that pretty much sums up how I feel about that. I should hear back from two of the places this week. This could be tragic or really exciting. It's going to be scary either way. Committing to a job is somehow much scarier, in my opinion, than committing to school. Oh well, I plan to survive the ordeal, one way or another ( Read more... )

So, today I got an email asking to set up my second interview at the Center. This is really good news! I'm getting closer to being done with my taxes and no longer owe obscene amounts of money!!!

In other news, a friend of mine just got engaged to someone she met in August. HMMMM!!

I HAVE AN INTERVIEW TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so it's just an interview. But, that's a whole lot better than the incredibly distressing SILENCE I have received from all of the 285,293,583 job applications I've sent.

Now I just need to figure out how to maintain my composure and not be TOO enthusiastic about the possibility of having a job
