this summer i'm going to read the lord of the rings trilogy to my brother and sister. that's about all the sci-fi i'll be able to handle for a few years. and i'm not even sure if the lord of the rings is completely sci-fi?

i read four of the harry potter books two years ago. i don't think i would like them now. i still haven't read the newest book. i'm not sure if i ever will.

I just finished reading the Lord of the Rings today, actually. And I think it's considered fantasy but sci-fi is really just fantasy backed by scientific theory, and sometimes not even that.

You might want to consider that Chuck Palahniuk doesn't have any good novels except Fight Club. I've read them, I know.
