The interview today went GREAT! By 4 hours after I left, they had already called me back for a second interview/observation in one of the classrooms. The job itself sounds great. 2 weeks vacation time (it's year-round), medical, dental, life insurance, 401k, all that jazz and $24.50 an HOUR! :) Talk about a pay raise!! Well, big day tomorrow. INTERVIEW at a private school about 25 minutes from here. They have two positions open - one for the toddler program and one for the infant program. Yeah, sounds better than public schools, but we'll see how it goes. Grandma said that maybe Friday she'll drive me up to Colombus to find someone to process my application ( Read more... )

Well, we finally made it to Cincinnati!! It took us FOREVER that last day to get everything done and then we got stuck in a crazy rain storm, but we made it. Safe and sound.

We're busy getting settled in now. Esther is hiding under the bed and won't come out, but other than that all is well!!

I just saw my mommy for the last time for a while. Three days until Cincinnati!!

Javon got called by a company today. It wasn't his dream job, but it was still pretty good and something that he would enjoy doing. So, I guess that's good.

Well, the house is empty and devoid of furniture...it's somewhat depressing.

Javon and I have resorted to sleeping on a sleeping bag in the living room. All the furniture (except the TV and our exercise balls) are officially out of the apartment. Most of it went to the storage unit, but a lot of it got tossed or donated to Goodwill. Apparently a 10 x 12 storage unit isn't big enough to fit everything from school AND home ( Read more... )
