Trainer [
image]
After she won the Kanto Pokemon League, Tori decided to venture onward to Johto to get the next set of badges and continue filling her National Pokedex. She tries to better understand her Pokemon by competing at the Pokeathlon Dome in Goldenrod City therefore physically training with them, and finds she's out of shape and must train harder if she wants to be in sync with her team. She also likes participating in Bug Catching Contests at the National Park and collecting Apricorns to give to Kurt so she can get cool types of Pokeballs. Silver presents a constant annoyance to her as she becomes increasingly angry with the way he treats his team, and Team Rocket would become a bigger threat than back in her home region. Run-ins with Gary never improve her mood either.
Main Team
Data
Profile: He was caught near New Bark Town when Tori went to visit Prof. Elm in Johto. As a Totodile, he was very affectionate with her and liked walking by her side. Jaws is rather friendly for being a ferocious fighter, and he likes picking flowers for his Trainer and people in general. He's usually in a happy mood, but when Tori is in trouble, he becomes protective of her and intimidating to his foes. He has never failed her or his teammates in battle and punishes himself if he ever lets them down. Even as a large Pokemon, he enjoys walking alongside Tori and carrying her on his back in the water. He really dislikes Team Rocket.
Attacks:
Ice Fang, Crunch, Aqua Tail, Strength, Agility
Feraligatr
Jaws.

Data
Profile: She was given to Tori as an Eevee by her mother as a gift when the girl won the Pokemon League in Kanto. She was her companion on the boat ride to Johto and traveled with her alone until Jaws was captured. Tori adored her as an Eevee and couldn't decide what to evolve her in to, but during a battle with Silver, she had miraculously evolved in Espeon. Marisol loves to have her belly scratched and her head, mostly between the ears. She's the one who frequently travels with Tori outside her ball while traveling around Johto. Because she enjoys being around friendly spirits, she dislikes Silver and his entire team. Marisol is not very fond of Gary's Umbreon.
Attacks:
Psychic, Swift, Bite, Morning Sun, Shadow Ball
Espeon
Marisol.

Data
Profile: Voltra's favorite pastime is walking alongside Tori throughout Johto. She's a little sad that she lost all her fluffy fleece when she evolved, but surprisingly she feels more streamlined too. Though she's not as fast as some of the others, she's very strong and has more vitality than the rest of her team. Tori has a lot of faith in her to pull through in battle, and she rarely ever faints due to the drive to make everyone proud. She's complimented a lot by her Trainer and teammates, but she just blushes and tells them it was nothing special. She really loves the beach and wishes she could learn how to swim so she can dive under the water to look for shells.
Attacks:
Thunderbolt, Power Gem, Signal Beam, Charge, Body Slam
Ampharos
Voltra.
Female.
Modest.

Data
Profile: Tori caught him when she had entered the Bug Catching Contest at Goldenrod City's National Park. Hercules was the Bug she chose to use for judging, but she ended up not even getting into the rankings for prizes. This made him somewhat sad because nobody thought he was good enough for a ranking, but Tori was more than enthusiastic to have him on her team, not even caring about having lost the contest. She trained a lot with Hercules to make him strong enough for Whitney's Gym, and he proved to be a powerful fighter, just as she suspected. He really adores her and the rest of his teammates. He gets bashful when Tori calls him cute.
Attacks:
Brick Break, Aerial Ace, Horn Attack, Swords Dance, Megahorn
Heracross
Hercules.

Data
Profile: She's not very sociable and prefers to keep to herself. Whenever Tori lets her out to battle, she cooperates if she's fighting alongside a comrade and tries to even the work involved, but if it's a single battle, she becomes ruthless. Despite her grim appearance, she's very loyal and protective of Tori and the rest of the party, and she highly enjoys taking walks with her Trainer as well as participating in various competitions in the Pokeathlon Dome of Goldenrod City. It's difficult to gain her trust, but she becomes loving and caring once somebody obtains it. She's saddened by the fact that Houndour are used frequently by Team Rocket.
Attacks:
Flamethrower, Faint Attack, Dark Pulse, Fire Fang, Howl
Houndoom
Calavera.
Female.

Data
Profile: Being the slowest of the team, he sometimes feels inferior fighting alongside his much faster comrades, even though he's quite powerful. Bernard doesn't like messes and will clean up after Tori when she forgets to pick up her trash after a meal, and occasionally will scold her about it. Bernard is rather bashful so when he gets compliments or attention, he'll start blushing and petrify himself like a tree so he can block it out. He hates water and beaches, so he makes sure to stay safely away from the shoreline, much preferring to relax in the warm sand. He loves to eat Berries and often picks them up when he walks with Tori.

Data
Profile: Ciel was hatched when Tori was asked to look after an egg by Prof. Elm, though it originally belonged to Mr. Pokemon. This Togepi refuses to return to the man, and stubbornly stays with Tori. She's very playful and sweet, and likes eating pastries and berries. She also likes wearing cute bows and walking with her Trainer. She's not a fighter and prefers to just watch. She's ever optimistic and encourages Tori and the rest of the team to keep moving forward. Because she doesn't like to fight, Ciel was left with Tori's mom for a while, though she didn't mind too much. She hopes to someday find the motivation to fight so she too can participate in battles with her comrades.
Attacks:
Metronome, Return, Sweet Kiss
Togepi

Data
Profile: She's not as naughty as most Misdreavus, but she did give Tori a hard time by scaring the living daylights out of her before she was captured. Hex likes to float around in the dark when Tori needs to travel during nightfall. When she camps, Hex is usually the lookout as she doesn't sleep much and prefers to go haunt people sneaking late out at night anyway in the road. Her powers are mostly for show as she likes entertaining, but she's proven various times to be a dependable comrade in double battles. She admires Calavera.
Attacks:
Shadow Ball, Psybeam, Confuse Ray, Power Gem, Grudge
Misdreavus
Hex.

Data
Profile: Tori had a hard time getting used to Medulla as her tail would try to bite her hand every time she tried to pet her. She's not too fond of Mercury, thinking her flaming mane is something too show-offish. Sometimes Tori likes to keep her out of her ball and walk with her since Medulla's tail keeps watch of what's behind them. In states of emergencies, she allows the Trainer to jump on her back as they gallop away to safety. If Tori wants to collect fruit or Berries from trees, Medulla uses her psychic powers to retrieve them for her.
Attacks:
Psychic, Crunch, Signal Beam, Energy Ball, Agility
Girafarig
Medulla.

Data
Profile: He was troublesome as a Tyrouge and almost caused an avalanche in the mountains where Tori found him. At first he didn't listen to her, simply because he was stubborn, but he learned to trust her judgement as a Trainer and fought every battle as hard as he could. He likes helping her find fossils and gems by spinning at high speeds to bore his way into the ground. Bernard doesn't like him because he shows off too much and likes to practice his Brick Break on him when Tori isn't looking.
Attacks:
Rolling Kick, Quick Attack, Brick Break, Low Sweep, Double Team
Hitmontop
Henry.
Male.
Adamant.
Pokeball.
Data
Profile: Tori had not expected to catch him during one of her fishing experiences in Olivine City. He rarely gets angry, but when he does, he becomes passive-aggressive instead of lashing out. Turbo spends a lot of time underwater when Tori lets her Pokemon out to relax, so she usually swims with him to look at all the undersea life. She has a grand time when he builds up speed and glides out of the water, flying for short periods of time. He playfully splashes water on Bernard but doesn't realize he cries afterward. Jaws likes hanging out with him.
Attacks:
Water Pulse, Air Slash, Ice Beam, Supersonic, Surf
Mantine
Turbo.
Male.

Data
Profile: Needless to say, Tori's pursuit of this Skarmory led to a few minor injuries. She stumbled upon her roost by accident and was determined to capture her, but most of the attempts ended with her tripping down some hiking paths. Luckily Jaws was strong enough to fight her and help in her capture. Talons didn't get along well with the rest of the team in the beginning, but when she was stolen by Team Rocket, her comrades fought tooth and nail to rescue her. It was then she began to gradually become fond of everyone, and learned to love her Trainer.
Attacks:
Steel Wing, Fly, X-Scissor, Drill Peck, Autotomize
Skarmory
Talons.
Female.

Ultra Ball.
Data
Profile: Charybdis is, for the most part, all work and no play. At first she only accepted Tori as her Trainer because of how hard she worked to train her entire team, though throughout the time they've spent together, she's grown attached to the girl for being kind-hearted and devoted to her Pokemon, regardless if they win or lose. She likes going up against Silver's Pokemon and kicking their butts to prove to him that being cruel to his team will get him nowhere. She gets along well with Bonesworth but finds Icabod's pranks amusing.
Attacks:
Dragon Pulse, Waterfall, Ice Beam, Octazooka, Dragon Dance
Kingdra
Charybdis.
Female.
Serious.
Lure Ball.
Data
Profile: Tori put the most effort into evolving him since he would gain experience slowly. Though he's reached his final stage of growth, he's still as naive as he was when he was a Larvitar. There are moments when he provokes Pokemon by accident simply because he's curious about something of their physiology, so he usually gets attacked and causes Tori stress when wild Pokemon come after them. Even though he's a mighty creature that shouldn't be reckoned with, he has a soft spot for baby Pokemon and likes nuzzling Tori when she takes him for massages or treats him to his favorite Poffins.
Attacks:
Rock Slide, Earthquake, Crunch, Dragon Claw, Rock Polish
Tyranitar
Saurex.
Male.
Naive.
Level Ball.
