Trainer [
image]
Tori gained a renewed sense of optimism and determination when she finally reached Unova, the last stop on her path to become a Pokemon Master. She has so far caught and raised every single species from the previous four regions, except for the Legendaries, and works her hardest to complete the last portion of her Pokedex. Unova proves to be the biggest challenge, not only because of the variation of strength between her companions and some of their clashing personalities, but because of Team Plasma, who is by far the most fearsome crime syndicate she's ever met, even more than Team Rocket.
Main Team
Data
Profile: Tori's first Pokemon companion and always present in her party as she traveled throughout Unova. As a Tepig he was rather bouncy, but during his growth he became calmer. He laughs a lot and is in a good mood most of the time. When he gets angry, it's more assertiveness than rage, and he tries not to lash out at the others. Boarben loves his Trainer and comrades immensely so he tries his best to set a good example and protect them whenever needed. He's secretly Tori's favorite of her Unova Pokemon and is a pillar of support for her whenever she's down. He teases her about Gary a lot, chuckling at her blushing face.
Attacks:
Flamethrower, Brick Break, Iron Head, Strength, Bulk Up
Emboar
Boarben.
Male.
Jolly.
Pokeball.
Data
Profile: She's very graceful and proper, but if she's harassed or angered, she'll retaliate by pecking aggressively. Sylvia loves bathing and likes walking with Tori so she can frolic in any clean body of water. She enjoys dancing in the sky and getting praise from other Trainers on how beautiful and strong she is, which she owes to Tori. She thinks the other birds could use a little more class, except Ciel as she admires her for her patience and natural cuteness. Sylvia will not hesitate to defend Tori or her teammates no matter what the risks.
Attacks:
Ice Beam, Surf, Fly, Roost, Hurricane
Swanna
Sylvia.
Female.
Brave.
Net Ball.
Data
Profile: He's quite the delinquent. If he's not supervised, there is a fifty percent chance he'll cause mischief someplace, solely for the purpose of amusing himself. Rockerroll thinks he's too cool to continuously play pranks like Icabod, so he only does it occasionally when his target has their guard down for ultimate amusement. Regardless of his impish tendencies, he's a powerful fighter and reliable in battle. He tries not to upset Tori because her anger scares him.
Attacks:
Crunch, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Dragon Claw, Scary Face
Krookodile
Rockerroll.
Male.
Impish.
Great Ball.
Data
Profile: He talks. A lot. Whenever Tori walks with him, she knows the conversation won't ever be boring because he asks a lot of questions and communicates with her through telepathy. He's inquisitive and likes learning solely for the sake of it. He's also rather playful and likes to juggle rocks or other small round objects, sometimes even other tiny Pokemon. He likes to tell ghost stories to freak everyone out, but if somebody is in need of a hug, he'll gladly give them one. He dislikes to see Tori sad and will come to resent the people who do. He likes teaching Lazuli about all the things he's learned through his travels and bugging Gary about whatever he's curious about, no matter how embarrassing.
Attacks:
Psychic, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Calm Mind, Flash Canon
Reuniclus
Membrain.
Male.
Modest.
Pokeball.
Data
Profile: He's very attached to Tori and enjoyed traveling with her as a Joltik. He was able to fit into her pockets but most of the time he preferred to stay nestled in between her goggles and hat. Circuit is rather shy, even as a fully grown Galvantula, and he'll start to cry if he's told he's scary or hideous. For this reason, he's still not comfortable around Sasha or any other person who dislikes Bug types. If not in battle, he'll often stay extremely close to Tori so as not to get lost. He likes getting hugs from people, but the only one who has ever hugged him so far is his Trainer. He's incredibly loyal to her and sees her as a mother figure for this reason.
Attacks:
Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Cross Poison, Electroweb, Light Screen
Galvantula
Circuit.
Male.
Timid.
Quick Ball.
Data
Profile: She's very friendly and dislikes conflict, so she'll only fight if it's in a Pokemon battle that Tori authorizes. She loves dancing so every time she hears upbeat music, she'll begin to move around, oblivious to the people watching her until she stops. She and Sunburst get along well and like to dance together. Tori rarely gets angry when Peppermint walks with her as the aroma from her flower calms her down, which is a great relief to the rest of the team. She can be a little naive and gets in trouble because of this. Rockerroll is her self-proclaimed bodyguard and takes his position seriously.
Attacks:
Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Magical Leaf, Quiver Dance, Petal Dance
Lilligant
Peppermint.
Female.
Docile.
Pokeball.
Other Teammates
Data
Profile: She's a no nonsense kind of bird and takes her battling seriously. Like Liberty she enjoys winning, but she won't exhaust herself if she's aware she has a zero percent chance of coming out the victor. She and Ace get along rather well, but she rolls her eyes at Hawkins' attempts to impress her. Priska is devoted to Tori and likes walking alongside her, picking up berries if she finds any. She's one of the hardest workers on the team and reveres Boarben for being a good leader. Like the rest of the female birds, she's attracted to Washington and often pushes away Gary's Unfezant with her foot when he attempts to serenade her.
Attacks:
Aerial Ace, Steel Wing, Fly, Sky Attack, Roost
Unfezant
Priska.
Female.
Brave.
Pokeball.
Data
Profile: She's very proud of her shiny coat and the adoration she gets from other Trainers. For this reason, she's the first one to ask if she can travel with Tori outside her Pokeball. Rogue is very cunning and manipulative and has an easier time getting what she wants by using her intelligence instead of looks, although she's just as vain as Felina. They hang around a lot, but they also get into constant arguments. In battle she's quick on her feet and attacks in stealth. Otherwise, she's rather calm and loves rubbing up against Tori asking to be groomed. She often messes with Gary's Arcanine just because she gets a good laugh and she pokes fun at Kandy's Stoutland.
Attacks:
Night Slash, Shadow Claw, Dark Pulse, Iron Tail, Hone Claws
Liepard
Rogue.
Female.
Sassy.
Pokeball.
Data
Profile: Tori doesn't get to bond as much with her as the others since she's almost always asleep, unless in battle. Icabod likes to play pranks on her since she sleeps like a log, but when she wakes up she becomes very upset. She spends days thinking about how to get revenge on the companions that poke fun at her, but she doesn't have the motivation to go through with them. Instead she prefers to eat their dreams or give them nightmares. Membrain likes to talk with her and ask her to interpret all the different dreams she's seen.
Attacks:
Psychic, Hypnosis, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Swift
Musharna
Luna.
Female.
Docile.
Moon Ball.
Data
Profile: His ill-temper makes Buzzstrike and Nicolai look like pacifists. Since his anger is greater than that of any other comrade, they try not to bother him. Due to this, he doesn't really have anybody who cares to chat with him, as he's easily offended and nobody wants to risk getting shocked, or getting others hurt for no reason. The Ghost types or any other mischievous teammate don't bother him at all. He always looks angry even though he does have his moments of peace. Motor is actually pretty lonely since none of his comrades give him company willingly outside of battle. Ciel suggests he works on controlling that temper of his first, much like she advises Tori to do the same.
Attacks:
Thunderbolt, Stomp, Wild Charge, Double Kick, Flash
Zebstrika
Motor.
Male.
Bold.
Great Ball.
Data
Profile: Like Ciel, she's very motherly to the rest of the team, regardless of their size in comparison to her's. She's very creative and Tori carries an elaborate sewing kit with her for the purpose of providing materials for Levana to work with when she wants to create clothing. Because of her special skill, the girl relies on this companion a lot to repair her clothes when they're damaged or to make her new ones. She adores baby Pokemon and mothers them, making them adorable little clothes to wear. Despite her gentle nature, she's a very capable combatant and so far hasn't lost a battle. She's the only Bug type of Tori's that Sasha likes, though Levana has mixed feelings about this information.
Attacks:
Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Poison Jab, String Shot, Aerial Ace
Leavanny
Levana.
Female.
Gentle.
Pokeball.
Data
Profile: Because he's bigger and with a thicker hide, he's the only one who's able to calm down Motor, even though he himself can get rather angry at times. He's very stubborn and makes it his goal to defeat his foe in battle, even if it's a type that he'd be at a disadvantage. Because he's so large, he prefers if Tori climbs on his back so he can walk her to her next destination. Not that he minds as he's rather fast and strong, so protecting her isn't an issue. He becomes tame and calm if she pets his head or scratches him between his antenna.
Attacks:
Steamroller, Poison Jab, Megahorn, Aquatail, Iron Defense
Scolipede
Spencer.
Male.
Careful.
Pokeball.
Data
Profile: She's best friends with Peppermint as they like to practice dancing together. Sunburst is very fond of her as she creates her own up-tempos and dances by herself, so usually it joins her. She can get a little carried away in her dancing and bump into things with Tori paying for the damages. Feeling guilty, she goes off on her own and puts on a show to bring in a few extra bucks which she gives to her unsuspecting Trainer as an apology. She and McGraw get along exceedingly well, though she thinks he should try not to be a creep and scare people just for the fun of it. She only prefers to walk with Tori if the trek is through a desert or other barren landscape that isn't snow.
Attacks:
Poison Jab, Bounce, Energy Ball, Synthesis, Needle Arm
Maractus
Chachi.
Female.
Quirky.
Great Ball.
Data
Profile: Unlike most of her companions, Tori's Cinccino prefers to rest inside her ball and only put in effort to anything if she has to battle. When she's in combat, she attacks with style, causing the foe to become distracted with awe for a few seconds until she smacks them right in the face with full-force. She's always grooming herself and likes to sleep with Tori in her sleeping bag when she's camping, mostly so she can feel the warmth of another living being. She adores accessories and secretly wishes to partake in contests, though she doesn't bug her Trainer about it. She and Felina are always at odds about their gorgeous fur.
Attacks:
Slam, Aqua Tail, Iron Tail, Wake-Up Slap, Tickle
Cinccino
Cappuccino.
Female.
Sassy.
Luxury Ball.
Data
Profile: He's a bit tough to handle as he goes into battle recklessly. Because his defense is so high, he doesn't mind getting punched or flung around, though sometimes it's at the expense of his partner. Delfino is rather stern and acts somewhat like an old man, so he and Bonesworth are the best of friends they're ever gonna get. He's somewhat serious but knows how to take a joke. For this reason, Buzzstrike likes him better and has nicknamed him "popstuga". He doesn't trust the other Water types to guide Tori safely under the water when using Dive, so he gave himself the role of "ocean explorer". He and Tori find a lot of neat things on their excursions.
Attacks:
Rock Slide, Aqua Tail, Crunch, Dive, Withdraw
Carracosta
Delfino.
Male.
Hasty.
Dive Ball.
Data
Profile: She's the smartest out of Tori's airborne companions, but the birds don't consider Quetzal to be one of them, so she feels left out and hangs out with Charla instead. Because she's been fossilized for such a long time, she's rather curious about the new era and asks Membrain a lot of questions, in comparison to Spiral who just freaks out. Her usual state is a relatively happy one, but she'll snarl and ruffle her feathers if she's starting to get pushed past her limit. She enjoys it when Tori clutches onto her back and they soar into the sky. She enjoys keeping a lookout on the surface while Delfino and Tori dive in the ocean for treasures.
Attacks:
Rock Slide, Dragon Pulse, Acrobatics, Iron Defense, Earth Power
Archeops
Quetzal.
Female.
Calm.
Ultra Ball.
Data
Profile: Dignified and serious about teamwork, she'll call out the companions who don't perform as well as she'd like. She has great leadership skills, but her proud attitude can make it difficult for any of the other Pokemon to negotiate with her on battle plans. She consults the "captain" Pokemon a lot before deciding on a tactic to use. When not in battle, she's docile and keeps to herself, though occasionally she'll strike up conversation, mostly about the weather. Destiny and Casper get along with her the best.
Attacks:
Megahorn, Horn Leech, Bounce, Jump Kick, Camouflage
Sawsbuck
Mable.
Female.
Quiet.
Nest Ball.
Data
Profile: He doesn't say much, but usually when he does speak up, it's for a purpose. Excalibur virtually has no fears, even Fire type species, and he will go into battle as commanded by Tori or his "captain". He doesn't like to be lent to people to use as he's solely devoted to his Trainer, but regardless, he'll still defend them if they're in trouble as it's in his nature. Sasha admires him for his bravery and willpower, and nicknames him "knight in shining armor" but he's not at all flattered as he's protective of his Bug comrades and isn't fond of the fact that she dislikes most of them. He gets along well with Jacques.
Attacks:
X-Scissor, Poison Jab, Slash, Iron Head, Scary Face
Escavalier
Excalibur.
Male.
Hardy.
Timer Ball.
Data
Profile: As a Litwick she was rather lonely and followed Tori until the Trainer noticed her presence. Feeling bad for the poor creature, she decided to make her a part of her team. Because she's so eerily charming, her comrades can only speak for a while with her until her appearance and manner of speaking starts to freak them out. She gets along well enough with the other ghosts, but would much rather acquaint herself with non-specter species. Next to Grimm, she doesn't really play pranks as she wants to make friends, not repel them. She offers to be her Trainer's torch during night expeditions and dark caves or buildings.
Attacks:
Flamethrower, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Will-O-Wisp
Chandelure
Mystique.
Female.
Docile.
Luxury Ball.
Data
Profile: She's rather kind despite her intimidating jaw. Diamonedge is cooperative and stands by her allies regardless of the situation or her own physical health. She's ruthless when she attacks and doesn't hold anything back, but she'll hesitate to harm somebody weaker than herself. Because of this, she sometimes tends to underestimate her opponents simply by judging from appearance rather than assessing their skill level. Because of Diamonedge's nature, she's the only one Tori has allowed to use a knock out move as she feels her Haxorus understands the capacity of power and won't abuse it if she ever needs to think on her own feet.
Attacks:
Dragon Claw, Aqua Tail, Strength, Swords Dance, Guillotine
Haxorus
Diamonedge.
Female.
Careful.
Great Ball.
Data
Profile: She's very crafty as a fighter and moves with graceful steps. She feigns naivete and acts cute to throw off other Pokemon, and through asking inquisitively, she manages to find weaknesses a lot faster than by simply just attacking. Though she's a Fighting type, she considers herself to be an elegant high-class being and won't associate herself with other types who are weaker than her. Mei-Li has a lot of respect for the rest of her teammates however as she has witnessed their power firsthand when Tori trains them all together. She doesn't get along well with Felina and has an attraction to Marino. She also finds all her Ghost companions obnoxious, especially Icabod.
Attacks:
Vital Throw, Drain Punch, Aura Sphere, Bounce, Quick Guard
Meinshao
Mei-Li.
Female.
Impish.
Timer Ball.
Data
Profile: He is very serious. In fact he's so serious that even Bonesworth tells him he needs to lighten up. Zander has a bit of a pessimistic outlook and thinks about the worst possible scenarios for just about any type of situation. This bothers the more light-hearted companions as they'd rather not think about such matters. He doesn't like losing and will usually be very precise with his attacks. He's a hard worker but literally has no fun with others or does things to amuse himself. Tori is trying to help him find a hobby outside of kicking butt.
Attacks:
Iron Head, Night Slash, Metal Claw, Dig, Rock Polish
Bisharp
Zander.
Male.
Serious.
Timer Ball.
Data
Profile: She can be a little rough when training, but otherwise she can get along rather well with the rest of the team. She's very reliable and cares about her comrades quite a bit. Though she may be in a pleasant mood most of the time, when she gets angry she won't be satiated until she has slammed her head into something to help her release her anger. Cleopatra has a lot of endurance so Tori enjoys using her in battle, but she does get worried when she overexerts herself. She really loves ice cream and gets along nicely with Red's Tauros. She's also the only one who doesn't have a problem with Gary, much to Tori's surprise.
Attacks:
Head Charge, Strength, Skull Bash, Iron Head, Swords Dance
Bouffalant
Cleopatra.
Female.
Jolly.
Ultra Ball.
Data
Profile: He is very valiant and kind-hearted, so virtually all his comrades are fond of him. He can be strict when it comes to training and believes all his partners have the potential within them to be great warriors, regardless of size or type. He and Hawkins butt heads more often that not mostly because of their general attitudes and he feels responsible for the well-being of everyone, even though Tori tells him the responsibility is on her as she's the Trainer. He can be protective of her so he's very observant when she walks with him. The rest of her female birds are infatuated with Washington, but he only has eyes for Ciel, even if he never makes it obvious. Hawkins dislikes him for that reason, among other things.
Attacks:
Sky Attack, Fly, Tailwind, Aerial Ace, Sky Drop
Braviary
Washington.
Male.
Brave.
Great Ball.
Data
Profile: She's rather gentle with her comrades and wise beyond her years. She is considered like a mother to all the Bug types that are on her team. For this reason, she and Ciel are looked up to a lot for comfort and advice. She enjoys walking with Tori, silently flying by her side, and she also likes transporting her places. She's very warm and keeps Tori company when she stops to take a nap, her soft white fur used as a pillow. Corona really dislikes the rain and would prefer not to be out of her ball when it's storming.
Attacks:
Bug Buzz, Fiery Dance, Psychic, Hurricane, Quiver Dance
Volcarona
Corona.
Female.
Calm.
Luxury Ball.
Data
Profile: He was the last of Tori's Pokemon to fully evolve as well as her biggest challenge. When he was a Deino, she had to watch him as he would bite everything to identify what it was. He bit her once on accident, which caused him to feel guilty afterward. His attitude in earlier stages was much like a dog, though he only listened to Tori's voice as he was blind until his final stage. When he finally saw her, he rejoiced and hugged her. Dante is rather loyal and thanks Tori for training him, as not only have his other senses heightened because of his previous blindness, but now he can focus on training his vision to become a fearsome ally. Next to Charla, he's the most skilled of all the Pokemon in Tori's arsenal.
Attacks:
Tri Attack, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse, Roost
Hydreigon
Dante.
Male.
Relaxed.
Dusk Ball.
