On my way home yesterday, probably ten miles from campus, I watched a young white man lean out the window of his pickup and give an elderly black woman the finger. FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN THE COLOR OF HER SKIN. Wow, I've been so insulated on campus that I forgot where I've been living. And that everyone's a little bit racist
