Thanks to everyone for the encouraging words about the GRE. I ended up getting an 1190. 610 verbal, 580 math. I think that this is pretty respectable, although I'm not entirely sure what the average is. I took the entire thing in about an hour and a half because I was so nervous. I flew right through it. Just curious--are you thinking of applying to grad school someplace for the Fall?

I have to wait until Fall of '08 because all the deadlines for assistantships and scholarships are long past. Plus, Jacob is toying w the idea of going back at the same time, so we need time to apply to all the same schools and see who will give both of us money.

It means that I, as usual, have no idea what I'm doing with my life! I'm leaning toward grad school for English...but that's just this week.

I don't know much about the GRE, but those numbers look big and with you're note about eating a hunk of cake, I will give you a big congrats!!
