Joey! I've been reading your entries. I think that what you're doing is awesome. Your boys are so lucky.
Since April, I've been working part-time in a group home for teenage girls who have been abused, neglected, both. I'm also beginning a teaching job at a school for kids who have been pulled out of gangs, etc. It takes a lot of dedication to work with at-risk kids, and it takes super-human patience to try to parent these kids. I've enjoyed reading about your adventure with it. I'm sure that you often feel like it's two steps forward, one step back, but I bet you're doing a great job.
I think LiveJournal is mostly dead. I'm thinking about starting a new journal, maybe at blogspot. I'm not sure I want my current life connected to my ridiculous life from when I was 18-22. I don't think anyone should be held accountable for what they do or say in that age range.
