I don't really see how it was full of shit and pretentious at all.

However, I am generally surrounded by English majors and "poets".
I also know a boy who uses a lower case letter at the beginning of his name because he "doesn't want to separate himself from other people by making himself look important with a capitalized letter".

There's a very good chance I just wouldn't notice some healthy, mild amount of pretention.

Either that or I am *more* sensitized to it and it is driving me insane!!!!!!!!! And Anni is not pretentious or full of shit at all.
