Throw in some sappy good stuff once in a while so I don't think you are drowning. The "negatives" on the other hand maybe exciting to read, but they concern me... like.... are you going to get so sick you will have to return to the us on a medical emergency... how long until you lose your passport and have to become a citizen of the country you are in at the time... etc... etc...

But maybe, by having all these experiences you will learn how to anticipate and keep all important paper work together, be more conscious of what you eat, and concentrate on the good sappy stuff because all of a sudden your "negative" experiences are no longer negative.

Anyway, I'm glad you are save, passed through the boarder without losing half your stuff, and are in a town "crated by hippies." By the way what did they crate the town in? I hope they created a large enough crate to put the town in. Panajacel sounds like a great place. Is it possible to post some pictures later?
