When I was in high school, I had a frenemy. I don't think the word "frenemy" had been invented yet, but he was it. He dated two of my friends and so we hung out quite a lot, but I always disliked him. He and I butted heads many times, a few of which particularly stand out

I get that a lot. Facebook friend requests from people who i hated in high school. Since i never use facebook though, i just ignore them :)

Yeah, I've gotten a lot of friend requests from old acquaintances that seemed to be adding me as a matter of course. I just ignore them, unless I'm curious what they're up to, in which case I send them a message to say hello and see if they're the kind of person I'd like to be continuously in contact with.

Facebook is usually a great way to find out who used to fancy you, guaged by the fervency with which they have hunted you down.
