Furthermore, it's obvious that Mirka Fortuna is peeved with any involvement with young Ion, but we don't need to clarify to one another that she's going to have to deal. I had ah-- a private discourse with her whereupon we both stated mutual suspicion that 'Sister Esther,' god help me, shot Ion.
I...interrogated Radu Barvon last night. Unfortunately, I have no additional information aside from the fact that the culprit was most likely...not Radu Barvon. He's not in an appropriate state of mind to attempt premeditated murder, or likely even non-premeditated.
With regard to Mirka, she told me what I assume you may already know, Tres, that Sister Esther has been in the city for months, but was absent, and was apparently from an earlier time than...the Esther I'm fond of.
She would have had motivation for shooting Ion on a surface level, but the lady and I both feel that Sister Esther would not have made a move on her own against Ion without a better motive. I believe she may have needed a strong guiding hand as well, if she is suspect.
With regard to Radu, he appears to be addicted to opiates and drunk off hiss god-damned arse.
