This was supposed to be a nice little fluffy piece for queenb23more in honor of her birthday, since I know she likes Neville/Lavender. But unfortunately, I don't do fluff and when I attempt it I don't do it well, so this (kinda spoilery) drabble was a little darker than intended. But I hope, Shannon, that you will appreciate the effort nonetheless.
