Sooo I bought a kindle and it just arrived so NOW I NEED TO FILL IT WITH BOOKS.

Suggestions/recommendations, please! :3 I'm pretty easy going with what I read but this is my 'awesome' shelf on goodreads and this is my favourites shelf if you want suggestions for where to start?

Have you ever read something by John Green? :) "The Fault in Our Stars" or "Looking for Alaska", for example :)

Kindle, yay! I love mine like burning.

Have you ever read Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell? It is my favourite book of all time ever, and if you like Neil Gaiman or Jane Austen or some kind of strange historical fantasy magical amalgam of the two, I think you'd like it.

Ngl I was one of those people who were like NO REAL BOOKS ONLY but then I had to great fun of bringing back 7 books from England in June so I thought maybe a kindle would be a good investment.

I'll check it out! I love historical fantasy :3

If you like strong female characters, I'd recommend Blood Vengeance. Mai and Alexi are some of my favorite fictional characters. (Disclaimer: The author's a member of my local writer's group. But I'd read these anyway - Mai rocks!)

The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst omg I read it for the first time like 10 years ago and it's been my go-to recommendation since.
