Edit: The $450 apartment emailed me today and said the room had already been taken. The Brookline apartment was okay, but I should probably wait. It's cheap, yes, but I still dunno where I'm getting $1150 in the next 9 days... ::sigh:: The girl was nice, the apt was pretty nice, and they had an orange kitten named Trotsky. I'll definitely be able to help you find some apartment leads if you're waiting until January (I can already think of a couple off the top of my head)...but, really, if you look hard enough, you'll be able to find a place in November if that's what you want. I thought it was going to be impossible to find a new apartment when I had five days to do so in February (my old building flooded), but we managed to find a place in only two days that ended up being perfect. There are always people moving around in this city for a variety of reasons. Don't stress.

Also I still want to see you soon. But, if you're sticking around this fall, that makes it very doable. I miss you.

apartment in brookline, 3 bedroom, 1500 a month breaks down to 500 per person for chestnut hill ( yeah i know crazy cheap), over 1000 sq ft and I know of some other cool people who could help fill the extra room/rooms. on rt, 9 grocery store and cvs across the street. Added bonus I'd be your downstairs neighbor and I don't think it's posted to the public yet. lemme know if you want to take a look see around my place to see what the one above looks like and I can give you the realtor's name too. G'luck with the hunt!

That sounds quite nice. The only issue is that the job I was supposed to find out about last week... now isn't letting me know until September 10th. Which makes things iffy, since I have no savings... gah. I really wish they'd just let me know...
