Hunt is quite awesome. She's been gone for a few years, so not many people have had her. She's nice and a decent teacher. Also a good ego boost too; everyone knows how much I need that. She also has some kind of allergic skin reaction to an unknown substance, so for now the solution is to wear white gloves everywhere. It looks so creepy that it's great. She also does research on binge drinking on the brain functions of rats. How awesome is that?
Vishton is fun too. Seems to be real big on theories of perception. Uses lots of examples; more of a "showing" than a "telling." He currently holds the record for the professor who can keep me awake for the longest time in Millington 150.
Gracias. I had Vishton for stats and really liked him (I asked him to be my advisor), so I'm pretty excited to take Research in Development with him. I'll see about Hunt. I'm not sure which Physiological will fit better into my schedule, but thanks for the info.
Nat!! Thanks for the info (and for the postcard!!). I hope you're having an awesome time at school! I'll try and shoot you an email sometime, but in the meantime, keep checking out the livejournal. :) And when I get back... we should go CAMPING!

Indeed, I did have Human Sexuality with Frieden and it was awesome and also easy. I also had Abnormal with Bierenbaum and that was also good- lots of movie clips, the text was boring, but if you pay attention in class, you're golden. He was very funny and psychology-ish, so it was good times. I had social psych with Porter who was not one of your choices, but the class was good. Basically, Frieden is awesome too, so any class you can get with him, I would tell you to take. Vishton was good for regular Developmental, I can only assume he would be excellent for the research version as well. He was always so friendly and helpful and I saw him on campus the other day with his daughter, so I approve. I never took Physiological Psych or Stem Cell Biology, so I can't help oyu out with those. Let me know if you have questions though that I could help with.

Enkosi khakhulu. I'm wavering back and forth between abnormal (with Bierenbaum) and Stem Cell Bio, mostly because I don't want to have all my classes on MWF (so one vote for Stem Cell Bio) but I don't know what to expect from Stem Cell Bio (so maybe one vote against). I hope you're doing well. Good luck with everything ... and breath! It's good for you!
On a note unrelated to your courses, but relavant to next semester, I know of at least two people in Bryan who vacating thier rooms after this semester. One is going abroad and one is graduating. So there may be a place for you here, if you want it.
That sounds excellent. Are those people by any chance roommates? I think Christina and I are still trying to room together in the spring. If they aren't, you should encourage their roommates (who are remaining) to room together so Christina and I can usurp the extra room. ;)
