For about a year ago we bought, what I would call, my dream house. It was not big, but it is located in a very cute area, with the best neighbours I could ask for, and best of all; the big grand forest is just on my door step. Out of my kitchen window I got the untouched beauty of the forest and wild-life. Out in the forest I got my quiet sanctuary

*hugs* At least there is a lot of frustration in the neighbourhood about it now, so hopefully we can manage to change the plans to at least be a bit more friendly than how they are at the moment.

I know what it's like having a beautiful forest you love being mowed down for housing. And what's worse... it's a trailer park for some nasty folks :(

Erf, quite terrible. :\ I suppose that the only way to be safe is to buy a huge property and build your house in the middle of it.

Nooo! How can they do such a thing!? And they changed the application from 60 to 150 houses with no further warning? is that even legal? It sure doesn't sound legal :/
I really hope that at the very least, your forest path can be left alone. This is just so typical, isn't it <..<

Apparently it is legal. :\ The plans for the new houses are done now, I have seen them, and what I saw is quite depressing. Suddenly there is not space for anything behind our house. >_<

Forest path and everything is to be gone, so I quite do not know what to do with myself. All I think about these days is that I want to move away from here. I do not want to live here to watch my beloved forest be chopped down and my backyard be turned into someone else's backyard.

*hugs back lots* I look so much forward to have you over here soon, though. :) So you get to see how nice it is here in summer, before all disappear. :)
