I'd die of happiness if I could play things from my laptop on my TV. I'm officially jealous.
At first I thought you were talking about a hockey match and then my super-sporting-knowlede (or not. I fail at sport, or liking sport) led me to think that it was some kind of Rugby thing? Not sure from that description whether it was Union or League though. I'm guessing Union cos you're in the South :p. (Being in the Great Rugby League Triangle of Warrington, Widnes, St Helens, Wigan, and Hull (or maybe that should be Pentacle. Or Blob) I have it on authority that Union is a pointless sport played by soft southern jessies, though I couldn't possibly comment XD).
Also, HI! :) I was thinking about you just yesterday actually, and wondering how you are so it's good to hear from you. I hope life's treating you well :) <3
Twickenham, home of the RFU, so it was a Union game :) I was also at the Tetley Challenge Cup final for League back in the summer so, y'know, a girl can be a fan of both varieties of men running around a muddy field with a ball and jumping on each other.
(with the caveat that I was born in your part of the world and spent many of the formative years of my childhood being dangled feet-first over the team baths in a wide variety of both Union and League (whoooooo, St. Helens!) clubhouses. Also hockey--of the field variety--because my Mum actually played county and national level up until after she gave birth to my younger brother. There are pictures of very-wee!me toothing using a mini hockey stick as an aid, so perhaps my current headlong into hockey of the ice variety was always somewhat inevitable)
Wee!me eating hockey sticks is now my facebook profile picture - I've been thinking of changing it from wee!me investigating wine for a while. Next up will probably be wee!me laughing hysterically at a dachshund or wee!me trying to dive headfirst into a pint of beer (there's... a theme with the pictures my parents used to take of wee!me, and that theme is only partly that Mum used to try to balance random things on my head and then take pictures)
(I dislike how I look in all pictures, so I deliberately use ridiculous ones for all profile pictures. I even managed to argue Boss around to my way of thinking, which is why my log in/screen user photo for the work computers is one of me wearing a trilby and smirking, despite being hungover and freezing cold whilst judging a charity dog show!)
