I just got back from church with my parents... I'm of the opinion that I could just as well go with them simply because it would be something of a disappointment to them if I didn't (although, I think they realize I don't believe...). I feel the exact same way every time I go to church with my grandparents. (My parents don't regularly attend a church anymore.)My grandmother would be utterly disappointed with me if I didn't go, but I feel like everyone's judging me. And talk about being ADD, to keep myself entertained at my grandparents' church, I count the air vents in the ceiling and I always loose track so it keeps my mind busy. I refuse to take communion because I would be a big faker. And my mom always tells me not to disrespect other's religions, and according to my study of Christianity, if you don't believe, it's a major sin to take communion.
I always remember the hymns and prayers too.
