Homura usually appears to be an ordinary teenage girl. Usually.  People with magical senses, though, might note the following things about her, as appropriate:
  • She is definitely inherently magical, in a relatively powerful sort of way-though it's not raw magical power, it's focused on a certain set of abilities.  If there's a color associated with the sense, it's dark purple.
  • There's a lot of temporal and spatial distortion around her.
  • Her soul is not where it is supposed to be.  See that ring?  It's in there.
Mind-reader?  Empath?  Telepath?  She's absurdly calm in most situations; however, underneath that, there's a roiling anxiety and a bit of obsession.  The object of said obsession is a girl named Madoka, who she seems to be very worried about.

If you can sense killers or death on a person, then Homu's got quite a bit.  She's obviously killed before.  Although if your death sense thinks furry little regenerating aliens don't count (she didn't kill him for good) then it'll be significantly less.  She has, however, killed a number of people (although some of them were repeats. goes with the time-traveling territory.).

Occasionally she will appear like this.  She's in magical girl-mode then, and has extraordinary resilience, the ability to jump long distances, and the ability to stay aloft longer than normal.  She also has access to her hyperspace pocket and temporal manipulation abilities.  She can briefly stop time for herself or anyone she's touching; she can also pull things out of her extradimensional storage space, which contains a semi-ridiculous armory of homemade explosives and military-grade weaponry.  Anyone trying to stop her can note that she won't time-stop if someone is holding on to her, since that'll take her assailant with her, but that won't stop her from dropping explosives and throwing them in your face-she doesn't need to have her hands free to retrieve something from hyperspace.
