Divine Right (restamp)

I was stamped before, but I think I was too bothered with something that I focused on it while writing. Now that the problem has passed, maybe I could write a little more naturally.

Forever - Stratovarius

Choose which one more suits you:

Optimistic or Pessimistic: Optimistic. I want to believe that everyone thinks of the good of the world, although an individual's definition of good and the scope of their world is different from another person's. I stay like this (half-willingly) even though I've been hurt a number of times from trusting people too much.
Dreamer or Realist: Dreamer. To me, reality is arbitrary, a consensus set by a certain group of people which they impose on others as the truth. I don't really hope to be one of those people.
Possessions or Ideals: Ideals. When everything else is gone, they're the only ones that are left.
Leader or Follower: Loner. Generally, I love people, and I would willingly help someone if I could, but I've never truly felt like I belonged to a group. So I couldn't say that I lead one or follow someone from one.
Light or Dark: Dark. It may represent hopelessness and fear of the unknown, but I like to see it as a potential for something. Something may be found within it. Or if you define darkness as the absence of light, the dark can be lighted up (unlike light which cannot be dimmed by darkness because there isn't an element of darkness anyway).
Intuition or Logic: Intuiton comes to me faster, but I feel better if I could verify things using logic. I guess it's due to my science-oriented education since high school. Just recently, I saw a thread on Facebook discussing how our college is run. One comment bothered me a long time after I read it, and I couldn't figure out why it did until I read it again later and (with verification from reference material) found a few fallacies in the person's statement.
Introverted or Extroverted: Introverted, though not as shy anymore.
Calm or Chaos: I am calm, but I thrive in chaos. So, chaos, maybe?
Secretive or Open: I seem quiet, but if asked to, I open up. I eventually learned that life with other people is all about sharing.
Mature or Immature: People see me as mature and serious, probably due to my inclination to think through things. But given the choice, I'd like to be immature, given some more time to grow and develop, rather than stop changing at a stage arbitrarily chosen by people as “mature” and ideal. (I think Aldous Huxley said something like this.)

8. What is your favorite animal? Why? Eagles, for flying independently and almost freely in the sky and having everything in sight.
9. What is your ultimate dream to achieve? To finally be happy with what I am in the present. It's something that could happen at any point in life, independent on what I've accomplished. I just need to finally accept and appreciate the totality of what I am, which is challenging considering I have very high standards and very low self-esteem at the present.
10. Water, fire, earth, or air? Which do you believe you are most like, and why? Air. It's the most free among the elements, and is somehow connected to intellectualism.
11. What is the greatest lesson you have learned? Life goes on. There was a time a few months ago when I had academic and social problems from which I thought I'd never get out with my sanity intact, or even alive. Now I'm sitting here, on vacation, posting this application. Whatever happens will pass, and as long as I will it, I will continue living.
12. What in life has proved to be the biggest challenge for you? Accepting my own shortcomings. I have trouble keeping in mind that no one is perfect, and that perfection is something I don't have to strive for. Screw-ups are upsetting, and sometimes they make people hate you. But the realizations of these shortcomings are what help people learn and improve themselves.
13. What one word could describe you best? Insightful
14. What is your favorite season? Why? Winter. Mostly because it's an excuse to bundle up in cozy and warm clothes. But there's something interesting about life pausing and being hidden under layers of snow for a short moment before reappearing in spring.
