Always & Forever
He brushes off the speck of dust on the old worn-out wooden bench, and set the bouquet of blue lilies down next to him as he closes his eyes, remembering this exact moment at this same spot as he proposed to her a year ago. Ironically, this special day also happens to be her death anniversary, when she was cruelly taken away from him just hours after she said “Yes”.

She stands there dumbfounded, completely drenched from head to toe as her vision starts to get blurry - either from the rain or tears - while she read the text over and over again. But all of a sudden, water stops dripping on her and when she looks up, she sees the tall lanky boy sheltering her (yet again) with a huge umbrella as he kindly says, “Let’s get you home.”

He was about to take a swig of the Soju he had just bought, when a hand came out of nowhere and swipe it away right from underneath his nose. Turning to his right, he sees her already downing about half the bottle before pausing to say, “This stays between me and you, okay?” and he doesn’t need to be told twice because her secrets would always be safe with him - just like her.
