I too dig what you are saying. You should totally start your own band... or even better just play outside of the building his and is in everyday so that he will notice you and/or take pity on you and let you sit in on rehearsal. But you have to be there everyday, I gaurantee you, the first time he sees you sitting out there in the snow, just a girl and her sax, he'll let you in.
